The Collective is committed to fostering a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. By participating in our community, you agree to uphold the following principles:
Our Pledge
Plus Ultra Collective is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community dedicated to advancing digital cultural preservation and professional development.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies within all Plus Ultra Collective spaces, including:
•Online platforms (email lists, forums, social media, video conferences)
•In-person events (conferences, workshops, meetings)
•Project collaboration spaces
•Public spaces when representing the organization
Our Standards
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:
•Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people
•Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
•Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
•Focusing on what is best for the overall community
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
•The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
•Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
•Public or private harassment
•Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
Enforcement and Guidelines
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the Executive Director at rogerlmartinez@gmail.con. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Correction
Warning for unprofessional behavior.
Clarification of violation.
Warning
Consequences for repeated behavior.
No interaction for a set period.
Temporary Ban
Serious violation.
Ban from interaction for a specified period.
Permanent Ban
Pattern of violation or harassment.
Permanent removal from community.
